Taking care of our older parents is not all about nursing homes or assisted care. A slew of businesses that can help busy mid-lifers to cope with increasing demands from aging parents are cropping up. We have The Boomer Chronicles to thank for this list of websites that are in the caregiving space. Check them out for business ideas.
- Caregiver Helper provides a secure online community that houses info about medications, emergency contacts, doctor’s appts, etc.
- Lotsa Helping Hands has an online calendar for organizing meals, appts, and transportation.
- Parent Care Call makes phone calls to remind those living alone to take their medications.
Do you know of other services in this space? Or do you have a business idea for a service? Let us know in the comments below.
