The New York Times ran an article about how Whole Foods is getting rid of their plastic bags (big environmental no-no) in time for Earth Day on April 22. The food chain will offer recycled paper bags and sell reusable bags. They will of course accept other reusable bags as well.
This is an opportunity for your company even if you are not in the grocery business. Design a great reusable bag with your logo on it and either sell them cheaply or give them away. Everyone is going green it seems but we already knew that older people are really into green living. You can’t go wrong with a reusable bag campaign.
